Off to a Great Start! Primus Inter Pares!

We are off and running in the suite! We have pretty much finished up our procedures and now we can start getting into the meat of the work! We started today with our vocab and spelling list for the week, as well as discussing assassination and the definitions of it. We will dig into Shakespeare tomorrow and get to the "heart" of the matter.

We also went over procedures for math and started discovering the large deserts of the world for history. We studied parts of the scientific method for science and began the background work for Lois Lowry's Number the Stars in Literature.

Our young men are doing a fine job with the new 6th grade responsibility this year of getting all the recess equipment out in the morning and in for the afternoon. I am proud of how they are taking on responsibility.
