Making Beautiful Music!

Scholars are rounding out their sound and energy units in science with the production of instruments. Their projects illustrated the terminology of pitch, percussion, volume, compression, an decibels. They were quite creative making some instruments that were a combination of string and percussion. Yesterday scholars presented their Number the Stars projects. We heard letters to Ellen Rosen from her friend Anamarie, we saw beautiful scrapbooks and some very creative comic strips of important chapters in the book. The scholars executed these projects quite creatively. We will be moving into Homer's The Odyssey this week.

Today scholars will have a geography quiz and begin reviewing the first three chapters of math that we have completed so they can take the benchmark assessment on Monday of next week.
