Tonight is the first forensics tournament for our new GFA scholars. This tournament is mandatory and students will be graded in Language Arts for their work. Students are to be at the school by 5:30, dressed in their best dress. They may stay after school if they bring their clothes with them and hang them in the back of the room.
Concessions will be available for students, pizza, snacks, and drinks. Please be sure your scholar has some cash for dinner and snacks if they are staying. They may also pack a separate lunch for tonight.
Grandiloquent Guardians Forensic Team book bags will also be available for purchase for $10 this evening along with Applebee's cards ($2 and $5) for our fundraiser for nationals.
Grandiloquent Guardians Forensics Team shirts are on order and will be available for every scholar to purchase once they have arrived. They are dress code approved and they can add them to their school clothing repertoire.
The holding room will be the cafeteria. If you are looking to pick up your scholar (8:00 - 8:30) then please head to the cafeteria where the final awards will be handed out and students will be gathered.
Parents are welcome at the tournament if you want to sit with your students in the cafeteria between rounds. No one will be allowed in the rounds unless they are judging.
